September 29, 2026 — Verdict update
A Miami County jury has found Caleb Flynn guilty in the killing of his wife, Ashley Flynn. The Associated Press reports convictions for murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence.
The verdict follows a trial in which prosecutors argued Flynn shot Ashley inside the couple’s Tipp City, Ohio, home and staged the scene to resemble a break-in. The defense challenged the circumstantial, digital, and physical evidence and argued investigators focused on Flynn too quickly.
Sentencing is pending. Defense counsel has indicated an appeal is planned.
