About Jaded Evidence
Facts over speculation.
Jaded Evidence is an independent true-crime research and commentary project created for people who want more than a headline, rumor, or viral clip. The work follows court records, identifies the original source, separates fact from allegation, and leaves room for uncertainty when the evidence is incomplete.
About Jaime
Jaime Burns, APRN, FNP-C, is a neurology nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience. Her clinical background brings an additional perspective to cases involving neurological disease, psychiatric symptoms, medication, cognition, behavior, and criminal-responsibility claims.
That background is used to explain concepts—not to diagnose people from a distance. Legal questions are analyzed as legal questions, clinical questions as clinical questions, and the limits of the available evidence are stated plainly.
The approach
- Start with primary records whenever possible.
- Label allegations, inferences, and unverified claims.
- Correct the record when reliable new information changes it.
- Center victims without abandoning fairness or due process.
- Ask what the evidence proves—not merely what a compelling story suggests.
Follow the evidence. Question the narrative. Show your sources.
