Evidence and source review
What the reviewed record supports
Initial testing indicated hydrogen sulfide, but authorities said final laboratory work was pending. Investigators cited surveillance, interviews, searches, seized electronic devices and alleged earlier statements. Defense counsel has denied the allegations. Juvenile confidentiality limits access to the petition and hearing record.
What this page does not treat as established
Unproven allegations, disputed witness accounts, inferred motives and incomplete forensic findings are labeled and are not presented as court findings.
Legal status
Juvenile prosecution pending; prosecutors have said they will seek transfer to adult court.
Unless a final adjudication is stated, every accused person is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
Open questions
What substances did final FBI testing identify? What evidence addresses intent and the charged attempted-murder counts? Will the court transfer the case to adult jurisdiction, and has competency or fitness been formally litigated?
