Evidence and source review

What the reviewed record supports

Police describe a DNA database hit, Ross’s alleged alias, his connection to Davis and statements made during questioning. The laboratory confirmation, chain of custody, source of the blood and complete interview must be tested in court. Ross reportedly denied killing Davis.

What this page does not treat as established

Unproven allegations, disputed witness accounts, inferred motives and incomplete forensic findings are labeled and are not presented as court findings.

Open questions

What does the arrest affidavit allege beyond the CODIS hit? How was the alias linked to Ross? Is the DNA a single-source profile? What other scene evidence survives, and what is the indictment schedule?
